Folsom Lake Symphony Orchestra (FLSO) Celebrates its 5th Anniversary
May 2008 - Folsom, CA: Folsom Lake Symphony celebrates a significant milestone on its 5th anniversary. The Inaugural concert was in April of 2004. FLSO began its first full season in the fall of 2004. This new 2008-2009 season, begining in the fall of 2008 will be the fifth full season.
Bruce Woodbury, founder of the Orchestra and President of the FLSO Board of Directors said, “This is a wonderful milestone to enjoy for our entire organization, from the Board of Directors to Maestro Neumann, to our faithful Patrons, Musicians and Volunteers. Our success is to be celebrated by all, since we wouldn't be successful without our patrons filling our seats, our musicians performing well, and our volunteers helping out along the way.“

Maestro Neumann signs for Three More Years
April 2007 -- Folsom, CA: Michael Neumann, Music Director and Conductor of the Folsom Lake Symphony Orchestra (FLSO) since its inception, has renewed his agreement with the FLSO Board of Directors to continue as Music Director and Conductor for three more years, following completion of the current season. The agreement calls for an optional two additional years.
Bruce Woodbury, founder of the Orchestra and President of the FLSO Board of Directors said, “There is no question about it. The success of the Folsom Lake Symphony is largely due to Maestro Neumann. Surely we are all impressed with the considerable success the FLSO has experienced in it's first 3 years. Michael's ability to attract and maintain highly experienced and dedicated musicians has been just his first step. We have a bright future, and look forward to growing our organization and attendance each year”
