Executive Director

Carol A. Hoge Welcomed As New Executive Director of the Folsom Lake Symphony Folsom,

California, September 18, 2008 – The Folsom Lake Symphony Orchestra has ushered in its 5th Anniversary season by welcoming its new Executive Director, Carol A. Hoge.  Ms. Hoge, a Sacramento native, has an extensive background in business management and development and in the arts, and welcomes the excitement and honor of working with the Symphony. “The Folsom Lake Symphony Orchestra is a treasure among these foothills. Its music is spectacular, and its leadership under Maestro Neumann is golden.” The symphony has been under the executive directorship of Mr. Tom Weidle since 2006, and celebrates its 5th season this year. The first concert of the season is slated for Saturday, September 27, 2008 at the Jill Solberg Theater and features Anita Felix, violinist, performing the Bruch Violin Concerto in g minor. The evening’s program will also include In the Steppes of Central Asia by Borodin, Bacchanale from Samson and Delila by Saint-Saens, and selections from Romeo and Juliet by Prokofiev.
